Adult Summer Reading Program 2004
With the generous support of the Friends of the Library, the sponsorship of Gilles Cycling & Fitness, and the cooperation of the Evansville Otters, the Evansville Vanderburgh Public Library's Adult Summer Reading Program's theme this year is Baseball. We want all Evansville residents to Take Me Out to the Library.
We are offering special sign-up incentives, as well as prizes from Gilles Cycling.
Sign up by June 5th and you receive a custom printed pencil, a 20% off coupon from Gilles Cycling (can be used on any item), and a chance to win an Evansville Otters hat, Bosse Field t-shirt, or Otters Fun Pack (four field box tickets, four soft drinks, and four hot dogs).
Read five books, one book from each of the designated categories on your official summer reading score card and enter a drawing for a chance to win a heart rate monitor/watch, yoga mat, or pedometer.
The scorecard gives readers 32 suggested book titles to choose from. Included are books by Peter Straub, Diane Mott Davidson, Anne Perry, our own Mike Whicker, J.R.R. Tolkien, and Stephen Ambrose. You may listen to the audio version of books that are available in that format.
